Developing leadership in youth is primary goal of the Scouting program. Youth improve their leadership skills through practice and training. There are numerous training programs available for Scouts BSA, Varsity Scouts, and Venturers. Most of these trainings are conducted at the unit-level. Training kits and literature are available for sale through the Scout Shop.
