What is a National Scout Jamboree?

Scouting’s flagship event is one-of-a-kind. It’s a gathering of approximately 45,000 Scouts, leaders, and staff that showcases everything that is great about the BSA and its members. Over the course of 10 summer days, once every four years, the Boy Scouts of America comes together. The result is the National Scout Jamboree. The next jamboree will be held July 21-30, 2021.

The Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve

Be creative! We encourage all Scouts to be responsible for a portion of their costs.
  • Scholarship Availability: There will be limited scholarships available through National BSA and through OCBSA through our Jamboree patch sales program. More information on how you can apply will be provided to you by your Jamboree unit leader.
  • Save your allowance and birthday money! Ask Grandma!

If you have overall general questions please request more information from our Jamboree Chair, Chuck Williams at chaz3rd6@netscape.net.
